The two Norwegian Copyleft companies have decided to formally merge, following last year's buyout of Copyleft Bergen by Copyleft Oslo. The merger was effective as of 2009-01-01. +

Copyleft Software AS (aka Copyleft Oslo) has agreed to buy all shares in Copyleft Solutions AS (aka Copyleft Bergen) as part of our strategy to consolidate the Copyleft Solutions brand.

Employees in Copyleft Bergen will remain employed in the existing company, but most customers will be moved over to Copyleft Oslo. Focus for employees in Copyleft Bergen will shift from hardware sales and system administration over to application development.

Administration of Copyleft Bergen will be handled by the Oslo office.

We will maintain an office in Bergen, but it will no longer directly service our customers
